Sharptooth

Already saw it on DA, but it's too much awesome to not praise it a second time  ;)

This was a piece of promotional work I did for my agent, but as it qualifies, I thought I would share it here, too.

The dinosaur is Urocissa erythrorhyncha; or red-billed blue magpie. The full view (click on the top bar) is larger than the original, which is 21 x 8.5cm.

Detail of the magpie.

It makes a wonderful new signature image :)

ZoPteryx

One of my favorite bird species, so amazing!!! :)

Jetoar

He is very beatiful, congrats  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Thank you, everyone.

Sorry I haven't been on the forum in a while. It's very poor form.  :-[ I shall find I've missed out on a hundred new things.

I did this relatively quick drawing of Chris interviewing me for his blog, Jersey Boys Hunt Dinosaurs.

The full view (click the top bar, as usual) is much larger than the original, which is roughly 21 x 8.5cm.

Weaver

Oh gosh, that's a neat interview! Oh my, and seeing all the beautiful work at once in there is cool. You collect chop seals? My grandparents have a few and  they are certainly neat to see. :D

Gryphoceratops

It was a pleasure interviewing u!  Always good to make an appearance in your art as well.

Again, I'm so sorry I've been absent from the forum for a while. This is another post-and-run for now, I'm afraid.

This fuzzy juvenile Apatosaurus was commissioned by Brian Switek for his new book, My Beloved Brontosaurus. Please see this LITC entry to read a little more about it.

Blade-of-the-Moon

He's quite cute..I just don't know about fuzzy sauropods....yet. lol

Rumour has it that your uncertainty may soon be put to the test, BotM.

If I have to start feathering 1:1 sauropods I'm out ! lol ;D

ZoPteryx

Great work!  Hooray for fluff on all dinosaurs!!! ;)

Himmapaan

It wasn't strictly intended to be a firm proposal for feathered sauropods as such, but was requested by Brian more to illustrate a point. That said, you may also care to read Matt Wedel's observations on it over on SV-POW, too.

Blade-of-the-Moon

I understand and I'm sure it will explained when I pick up the book... ;D

Read Matt's comments there..a superb piece..but the feathers are plausible !? Oh lord here we go.. lol

Himmapaan

Another silly one.

A Pound for every illustration of a theropod with its blessed maw all agape.

tyrantqueen

What does "blagarrrrrr" mean? :-\

Himmapaan

Nothing. It's just meant to signify some absurd loud noise.
