I wasn't able to find info about the author of these figures:  :-[

Does someone know the artist?  8)

A user on this forum archive says that they're from CM Studios. (Hit CTRL + F then type "blogspot", you'll find a long blogspot URL that ends in .gif, that URL is the same image you've posted, so I believe the commenter is referring to these models in their comment)

I seem to recall them being Shane Foulkes' work, as per a post on the old forum. The sculpting style does resemble CM Studio's more than Foulkes'. Maybe he was going to distribute them. Anyway I have never seen them for sale anywhere.

Actually they're by Shane Foulkes. He had planned to release them but I've never seen them for sale anywhere.

Ah, thank you so much for correcting me :D

Ah thanks guys, bit of a booboo on my part.

avatar_Roselaar @Roselaar do you by any chance have the figure and no whether it could look okay at the back of an Invicta set-up anyway?

I have it, but it's not a good figure for interacting with Invicta. It's way out of scale and on close-up looks a bit cartoonish.
Yes, I see what you mean. Unfortunately I stupidly decided to buy it already.

DinoToyForum

Hi all, this request came to me via the dinotoyblog email account. Can anyone help?

"I'm wondering if you guys might be able to help us? My 3 year old daughter has a brontosaurus ish dinosaur teddy, it's her favourite and she takes it everywhere, can't sleep without it. She's had it from birth and sucks the tail so it's getting grotty. We desperately need a replacement/ back up. We bought it in Venice airport about 3 years ago, I think from the second floor hub shop. We tried contacting them a couple of years ago with no response. It had a brand label but we stupidly cut it out when we got it, I think it was a fairly well known brand but I'm not 100% sure. There were others in the series - I remember either a stegosaurus/triceratops which was weirdly in a sitting down position, possiblely another long necked type (with an even longer neck), and possibly a t-rex, some of the others were more colourful/had mottled pattern fur. A photo of the one we are looking for is included below. We would be extremely grateful for any help."

So my Google-fu has failed me. I assume this little dude is some sort of knockoff and not worth the price of the lot it comes in, but I can't find another one anywhere on the internet, and for some reason i find it ridiculously appealing. Any thoughts?

Looks like Chap-Mei / Animal Planet to me.

Creature

I did wonder about that. Thanks!

I think i have one if your interested in it.

Creature

Thank you! I might be interested, though not right at this moment. Some IRL stuff came up this weekend that prevents me from spending money on anything that's not a necessity.

Archosauria

Hi all!

I found this bloke while snooping around the archives of the old dinosaur toy forum. I can't find any information concerning it, and the only images of the figure on Google originate from the forum.

Anyone know what brand it is or where I could get one?

You might find one on eBay if you look long enough, but I don't think very many were made. A few years ago someone on the forum was selling one but it's surely long gone.

I sold it several years ago. Great little figure. Good luck on to anyone trying to find one, I've only seen one for sale in the past 5 years or so and that was my one.

I thought that might have been you but wasn't sure I was remembering correctly. It was a cool figure.

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Congrats if you got them,  I use to miss gems like these.  Don't know anything about the brand.  I can only say that 'Playmobil ' is probably not the correct label.

As to myself,  I am into 'Dargaud' bubble gum figures from the 70s.  Any furthet information about these MARX style figures is welcome!

ok so do you got any info of what company that has made this latex baryonyx but not the ones that are made for the dinosaur ride in disney world and the jurassic park areas including the rides at some at the universal theme parks but the other company that makes this baryonyx and some of the other latex dinosaurs.
