I will easily pass. It looks nice, but I already have the ones from Safari and Battat, as well as the miniature version, which will have a review up in a couple of weeks!

I agree. ;)
I have no idea on how you agree on that. I guess that should be in the controversial opinions thread

I guess I am one of the few who actually like this Pachyrhinosaurus. I am a sucker for Ceratopsians. Even though its just a head shot of the animal, I still have high hopes for it. This is a shot in the dark but does anyone else think we could get a possible Gorgosaurus or an Albertosaurus due to the release of this Pachyrhinosaurus? I know PNSO does not really have this pattern of making coexisting species, but again its just a guess.
You're not alone, i like it too.

There is a misunderstanding here: That asterisk was meant to shorten up a duplicate post I had accidentally made, not that the Pachyrhinosaurus was a bad model. There is no way to delete redundant posts here,so I tried to take up as little room as I could.

You are right to admire this new model. It happens to be a very good one, standing favorably among the best. 8)

Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

It looks very like my 3D printed (and myself painted  ::) not too well) P. lakustai.

Major congratulations, this is fantastic. Not many collectors can create and you have a very nice piece here. With time, all skills will become sharper. I encourage you keep it up, trooper.

Did you sculpt it yourself?

What material is that figure made of? PVC, resin, putty, vinyl? It is very pretty.

Thank you, it was my first attempt of painting something.  ::) avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus I didn't sculpt it, I downloaded the 3D archive for free in Thingiverse and Dinotoycollector corrected the lower jaw (to be thicker) for me. It's made in PLA (very light plastic) at about 1:35 scale. I printed it myself.

I appreciate that unlike the Eofauna Triceratops,PNSO's Pachyrhinosaurus actually represents an identifiable species in P. lakustai. :)

There's a big difference between identifiable and identified. The Eofauna trike is identifiable. The studies identifying it are just still in progress.

I'm honestly not a fan of the PNSO ceratopsids and this one isn't an exception. They all have this gnarly look to them, which is fine, but not my favorite style of paleoart. I prefer the Eofauna take.

Don't get me wrong,I know the background behind the making of Eofauna's Triceratops. My preference for one of either T. horridus or T. prorsus doesn't change that Eofauna made a very good model. :)

By the way, the PNSO pachyrhinosaurus is already available on Amazon as indicated by Paleo-Nerd, without a doubt the PNSO ceratopsid figure is beautiful but without a doubt I am going to reserve for the two Eofauna triceratops. I pass the link:

https://www.amazon.com/PNSO-Dinosaur-Museums-Prehistoric-Lambeosaurus/dp/B08MD9C47V/ref=as_li_ss_tl?dchild=1&keywords=lambeosaurus+pnso&qid=1604246437&sr=8-2&th=1&fbclid=IwAR2YDLo_Gel2n_G5QKgPZPT8ouu2xW17XoTZhLFaiNpSuWi-7fLi9ZSGSkI&linkCode=sl1&tag= paleonerd-20 & linkId = f36bfed74267a57842f787541488b88b & language = en_US

I guess Aliexpress will be a bit cheaper.

The body's alright, but that head just ruins it. I'm happy to stick with my Safari.

I see the body a little rough with all my respects, I have to point out that I have no idea what a ceratopsid like the pachyrhinosaurus was but I would like more a ceratopsid with a more elegant body like the Eofauna triceratops, on the other hand that head neither It convinces me and especially the eye is very beautiful and very detailed but it seems a bit childish to me, it reminds me of the Disney movie "in search of the enchanted valley" with those blue eyes and on the other hand it makes me remember a lot the Disney movie too Walking with Dinosaurs: 3D of the year 2012. There is something in the figure that honestly does not convince me with all my respects. Agree with you.

I didn't expect it to be revealed so soon!

I've read here and on Facebook comments about the head not being as good as the body. I'm no expert, it's just that to me it's the opposite: although I really like the head, I can't say the same about the body. Maybe it's a good thing, since I will show my wallet some mercy 😅

Bread

I may be one of the few that likes the entire figure. I see the issues with the head, but I still think it's a beautiful figure. I love the color pallet of the figure, but hopefully the colors won't be lacking in hand compared to the photos. The Spinops had that issue, which led me to pass on it. Will probably be purchasing this Pachyrhinosaurus, Lambeosaurus, Ankylosaurus shortly. Hopefully PNSO will slow down on spewing out these figures, my wallet is hurting.

Lanthanotus

The Borealopelta is already on its way, am very excited to see it in person.... will be a long wait :D

Halichoeres

I think the Pachyrhinosaurus is pretty decent, but I think I'll stick with the Safari version. One of those genera where we're pretty spoiled for choice.

More images of the Pachyrhinosaurus are hitting Facebook. It really does look fabulous. But again, I just don't feel inclined to add another version to my collection.

The pose and expression is endearing. Makes me think of those dogs who get terrorized by their owners to look "guilty". But I'm going to save up for BotM's Pachyrhino, so this one isn't interesting to me.
