Time-traveler or Dinosaur reservation?

Time-traveler to cretaceous China.
Dinosaur Reservation.

TheAllosaur

Hey, everyone, i'm considering writing a book (not to brag, but i'm a good writer. Ask my teacher ^-^) about a time traveler who is focusing on a trio of Zhuchengtyrannus (t-rex and tarbosaurus have enough fame) and a big (BIG) troublesome Tarbosaurus. It is gonna be cool, but I want to ask if it is reasonable to have a generic raptor and a generic therizinosaur? I checked the formation Zhuchengtyrannus came from (wangshi group or something) and there are no raptors or therizinosaurs. Most places in asia had these, so is it reasonable to include them?

TheAllosaur

Eh, what the heck, I'll have them. This is gonna be cool...

I'm sure both those groups were represented in China at that time but why choose Zhuchengtyrannus? Why not choose a dinosaur for which we know who their contemporaries were?

TheAllosaur

Well, there are several reasons. T-rex and Tarbosaurus have plenty fame, and Zhuchengtyrannus is just the same size. I think it's a chance to introduce him more and to challenge myself. I'm pretty sure there were raptors and therizinosaurs living alongside this thing, so I'm gonna take the chance.

I would love to read this book. Also is there any chance you could illustrate the dinosaurs in the book and post them in your art thread? And I think it's perfectly reasonable, in my opinion they probably lived there too (they just haven't been found yet :)). I think you should include Sinoceratops too :).

TheAllosaur

Actually, Sinoceratops is a major player in my book. I started the first chapter today, it's about two pages. I am going to post the non-colored illustartions, don't worry, I'll post all of them.
There is a Tarbosaurus that ends up killing one of the juvinile Zhucheng's, He is the main villian, Crack.

Cool, but I think (especially since you think Tarbosaurus has enough fame) that a Rajasaurus would be better suited for the part. Of course this is only a suggestion.

Rajasaurus lived in china?
I want a big Grey Tarbosaurus to be a big problem, so I really want to keep him. If a write a sequel in India , there will be a Rajasaurus

Cool! No, it didn't live in China, but it is a possibility. And that Tarbosaurus sounds cool. You could possibly put Tarbosaurus in that Indian one too.

At the time Rajasaurus and Tarbosaurus were alive India was not connected to Asia, it was closer to Africa actually.

TheAllosaur

I knew it was an island (once connected to madagascar) but there was a considerable amount of confusion there.
Just as a hint thing, the Zhuchengtyrannus live in a "maze" of sandstone that connects to the open plain the main herds of herbivores live in.
I hope i can actually pulish it (i've written books for fun each about 80-120 pages) but never published them. Their main plot is in my own Star Wars Galaxy I created. Maybe i'll publish them. Someday...

Oh, oops. Well, completely disregard that then.

OH! maybe chinkang...chikano....chickanogosa... some dinosaur from that formation that is very fragmentary could be a little asian carcharodontosaur! Thoughts?
I know i'm crazy. I think people are genetically mutating wasps here in utah. My friend killed a wasp at scout camp with a THREE INCH STINGER!!! No kidding. Very creepy. Here in Utah.

Well, that's still really cool. Bit I don't really see how a Tarbosaurus could be a threat to a whole family of Zhuchengtyrannus (Zhuechengtyrannus is bigger than Tarbosaurus :-\), but cool anyway.

THEY WERE!?!
Then i'll have to make him bigger  >:D
I already was going to have him supersize for a Tarbosaurus, about 41 feet, but now......45. I know that's big, but there are giant humans, and there have been huge, overgrown animals before, so, why not.
The Tarbosaurus (who's name is not quite decided) is going to be elusive, and attacks the juvinile when the adults are out hunting. They catch him, but he only leaves with a couple injuries. He is very aggressive, very dangerous.
