Nice giganotosaurus figure will perhaps be the giganotosaurus W-Dragon the giganotosaurus of the year, even surpassing its counterpart from Nanmu Studio. Its commercialization is highly anticipated by many of us who are collectors.

KeU

Got notified that mine is shipped. Let's see how long it will take to get stateside.

Syndicate Bias

Mine will....take a bit since I decided to order through an Australian retailer. Ahhh I should've asked for the alie link.

Shonisaurus

Woohoo!!!!! That giganotosaurus from W-Dragon looks brutal, it's superior to other JP / JW based giganotosaurus versions. My congratulations Sydicate Bias on your new acquisition and thank you for sharing those photos.

SenSx

Looks as good as the promo pictures, I hope that green eye is as terrific too.

Just registered to share with you guys some of the pictures i just received. I think that green eye looks even better than on the promo pictures! Seemingly, this time, we are actually getting a paint job as good as on the promo piece.

I think the answer to that question is on the third picture you just posted: the box says "Giganotosaurus" and one can recognize the head of the figure in it as well. That is our box :)

As many suspected, it is on the smaller end compared to the other movie monster figures.

Oh yes that's what I feared, it's a lot smaller, and I'm going to showcase it next to the Nanmu Spino and Rex.
Well I think I'll cheat and make him a taller base...

It is a huge opportunity missed.
Most folks would want a large figure like how it was in DC2.

It looks great anyway. It is a nice JP / JW based giganotosaurus. A great figure to collect and keep in a well protected display case.

Anyway, I guess Nanmu's giganotosaurus will be much bigger than its W-Dragon counterpart.

Yea I don't really understand, one could say it does not have to fit the Nanmu scale (which is probably bigger than 1:35), but that W-Dragon giganotosaurs does not even reach the size of the W-Dragon T-rex from the same brand.
I hope it will still look good next to my Nanmu's.
I could aslo get the Nanmu Giganotosaurus but I much prefer the W-Dragon counterpart design wise.

Totally with you on this.
If anything, it should follow the W-dragon scale which is a smidge larger than Nanmu.
Looks like I will have to get the Nanmu Giga, but probably after confirming its design in JW:D if it appears at all.
This is annoying since I like the DC2 design.

SenSx

Also I've watched the video with attention, and obviously, the mouth does not fully close.
You can't see it well on the comparaison picture with the Nanmu Rex, but there is a gap.

Not a huge issue, but another one beside the smaller size.
Looks like W-Dragon did not manage to make a proper articulated jaw, contrary to the promo model.

Honestly, this guy is way too small. The Dino Crisis Giganotosaurus was oversized at 21 m length and 7 m height. The guy we have here is barely 13 m with the 1/35 scale. It makes no sense being even smaller than the same brands T-rex.

Yes the more I see it, the more I'm disappointed by its size, I might not be able to showcase it with my other Nanmus.
Migth have to order the Namu Giga.
But there worst is that you can't even display it with the other W-Dragon.
But on the other hand, that giga really is 1/35 unlike all the other figures.
