Now here’s some really cool news: Mattel has made the first ever toy of the North American elasmosaur Styxosaurus!
Apparently this will be in the same Gigantic Trackers wave as the Suchomimus. It is the first Jurassic World plesiosaur to have flippers that move as part of the action feature. As for those spines on the neck and back, they are rather implausible, but do admittedly look cool.

This “Gigantic Trackers” Styxosaurus is awesome! And also, it kind of reminds me of level 40 creature.
It’s always cool to see Mattel take on new species, but I wish they’d use the designs from JWE2 for some of these new figures. The Styxosaurus in the game has a really unconventional fishlike thing going on which this guy has traded in for that crazy Road Warrior mohawk
