The final CollectA reveals for next year have dropped, and they do not disappoint! First up is the massive megaraptoran Maip.

This 1:40 scale Deluxe measures 26 cm long and features a wound on its right shoulder. These are becoming a CollectA trademark.

No confirmation yet as to whether it will have an articulated lower jaw, but that will probably be the case.

And here is the 1:20 scale Deluxe Phorusrhacos.

It will measure 14 cm long and is CollectA’s second terror bird after Kelenken back in 2011.

All in all, CollectA has produced quite a superb assortment for 2025. I know I’ll be getting all seven!

In addition, there’s the CollectA Prehistoric World playset, intended for their miniatures. The playset can be folded up into a “book,” with the cardboard components, the platforms, and the miniature Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus rex all stored inside. The Prehistoric Playbook can also be connected to the Horse Country, Ocean & Ice, and Wildlife Playbooks for even more imaginative play.

  • i agree that the Phorusrhacos looks like an old Collecta fig for some reason. Maybe it’s the paint job, which is, by the way, BLAND. Definitely going to repaint. But it will make a nice companion to my Kelenken, which i also modified a bit. Not thrilled with either of their terror bird sculpts to be honest, but beggars can’t be choosers.

  • The Phorusrhacos does somehow look so old to me!

    • funny you should say that; the Phorushracos, Maip, and Gallimimus to me have a look of CollectA from several years back! Not back to their Procon days, but don’t look like their style in recent years.
That’s OK; I still plan on getting two of those three (heck, maybe all three when the time comes lol).

  • I love scars on my figures, but I’m not sure about fresh wounds. The feather Mohawk on the maip is a little weird but I love it despite it’s flaws. The phorusrhacus is awesome too and I love how the beak is shiny.

  • It’s an intriguing line-up.
