Found a review of the Monolophosaurus and T.rex combo!

I like the Monolophosaurus, I guess that means I will have to get an Extreme Chompin´too...
@EmperorDinobot, now I see what you mean about how the Battle damage works.

Flaffy

Oh my that Monolophosaurus sure is tempting ;D
I want nothing to do with that Battle Damange Chomper Rex, such a shame the Mono is lumped together with it.
Gonna look for a standalone Monolophosaurus for sale, maybe the ebay gods will bless me with one that is reasonably priced.

Kayakasaurus

I can barely wait for April 16th! I want to get the Baryonyx and Metriacanthosaurus! The Carnotaurus is cool too but I don't have to have it.

I like that Monolophosaurus, I like how the neck can be posed, in other types of figure I don't like articulation but in this action figure type I like it, it fits more to me than in let's say articulated jaws on Safari figures.

Not sure if this link has been posted yet, but just in case. Jurassic Collectables (with local boy Corey Baker in the chair this time) reviews the Baryonyx. I'm liking this figure. These things are moving into Action Figure territory with the level of articulation.

I've seen other reviews on this Baryonyx before too, but I really appreciate that he has the Attack Pack figures alongside it (for a sense of scale, since they are roughly 3.75 inches like the human figures in this line). Honestly this is such a good representation of Baryonyx, regardless of how it actually looks in the new film (with or without the sound feature, and articulation). Just like, two more weeks of waiting till I can finally get my hands on this one. I've also been thinking of having this and the other creatures I want from this line on display from largest to smallest, with the herbivores facing the theropods.

Also, I thought these are action figures though? At least that's what I've always thought these toys were (even since the Kenner days), even if they aren't so highly articulated as most action figures are these days. I mean they aren't exactly the same as static models by Safari Ltd, CollectA, Papo, and Schleich, for example.

Yeah, reminds me of Favorite collection models. If only the teeth were more refined.

Yeah, you're right about the action figure status - I'm too used to thinking of these figures in terms of what we get from the brands that you mentioned.

Looks nice, doesn't it?  :D

Flaffy

The overall figure looks neat, and the price is amazing as well, but the head.... something's off about the head.
The teeth are too uniform, doesn't give that crocodile vibe Indominus and Indoraptor gave me.
Unfortunately the electronic one has the better head.

Oh man, that pose is hilarious. I can't wait to give this thing a go with the posing rods from the BotM stuff too (if I can use it with it). Maybe even have the BotM raptors posed fighting it.
