THE END IS COMING!!!! Lets see what has been done by other entrants. When will voting start?
Also off topic but kinda funny: Isaac Newton predicted the world would end in 2060.

You've been warned already about pointless off-topic statements, so this is a second warning. Be aware: three strikes and you're out. C:-)

In response to the relevant part of your post, I'll probably post the entries and poll on Monday. :)

Lizerd

Monday right? So will voting end Monday? Then will the results come the following day?

avatar_Stuckasaurus (Dino Dad Reviews) @Stuckasaurus entry looks pretty good, depending on how many votes I get I probably would have put a vote on it. Pro cons starting with pros:
actual snow, good toys and a realistic setting. Cons are its not super visually interesting and buildings in the background somewhat break the feel of realism.  Overall a 6 or 7 out of 10

Check through the old diorama contest threads and you'll see how the timeline usually pans out. Voting takes place over a couple of weeks.

Why don't you exactly read what dinotoyforum wrote.  He stated the entries will be probably  published on Monday.  So the results CAN'T be published the other das. It needs several weeks so everyone gets the Chance to proof and then vote.. ::)

A good rule of thumb for me: if a 14 year old would find it boring or unnoticeable: I probably will forget it, that's just how I flop  :D
Actually did you enter?

The deadline has passed and all the entries are in. I'm aiming to set up the poll tomorrow and I can tell you it is going to be incredibly difficult to pick your favourites. The quality is excellent and there is such an abundance and diversity of entries - 63 dioramas makes this the second largest diorama contest to date. 8)

Everyone who entered the contest should have received an email confirmation by now. If you haven't, please let me know via pm or email.

I'll also say the following here for good measure, as well as when I set up the poll soon: any attempts to cheat during the vote will result in disqualification and a ban. You're allowed to vote for your own diorama but creating duplicate accounts is already against the rules to avoid sock puppetry and voting multiple times. Another form of cheating would be soliciting votes, so, please don't send family or friends to the forum for the sole purpose of voting for your diorama of preference. This is a diorama contest, not a popularity contest. As admin I can see who votes for what so I'll be keeping a watchful eye on the poll for suspicious activity.

First off - woah! - 63 entries is, from a statistical point of view, an increase definitely above and beyond expectations!  :)  (although now, I probably don't stand a chance  :( )

Secondly, since I'm guaranteed to have to say it at some point, good luck to everyone who's entered!  :)
