It seems to be working for me, are you sure? It is a bit confusing because when you click the "like" button it turns it into a "unlike" button (which just undoes the "like", it doesn't mean you dislike the post!).

I noticed that too. It takes 2 or 3 attempts to make the like button work. I just assumed it was a fault on my end.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

What device and browser are you guys (and others experiencing this problem) using? Let's see if we can identify a pattern.

It seems fine on my iPhone (Safari).  But it's taking a couple of attempts to get the like to register on my desktop now (Chrome).  Clicking unlike to remove my like seems to work immediately I think avatar_DinoToyForum @DinoToyForum.

Giganotosaurus

I'm using Chrome on my Galaxy, and I have to press the like button twice for it to work.
Mosasurus on Jurassic Mainframe and JPToys
Angurius on TohoKingdom

I love all the Jurassic movies, plus Disney's Dinosaur

Thanks, that's three Chrome. Is anybody encountering this issue on browsers other than Chrome?

It's working fine for me in Chrome on Mac (as well as Safari on Mac).

Those of you with ATF accounts, are you experiencing the same problem there?

I have. I click the like button on Blaine's daily collection posts and sometimes I have to double click it. I figured it was just taking a long time to register the click and I was being impatient. I use Chrome.

"I figured it was just taking a long time to register the click".

Out of curiosity, if those of you experiencing this click it once and wait, does it eventually change, or not at all?

It's shaping up like a browser-specific incompatibility between the forum software and Chrome. There are no errors in the forum logs.

I just tried it on both forums and it worked after 1 click, it didn't take long to register it either.

Chrome! A pattern emerges! Anyone experiencing this not on Chrome?

I just had the same problem in the "Dinosauria Volume 2" thread.

That's very odd. Do the likes appear on posts in the same thread or different thread? Is anyone else experiencing this?

There's definitely something fishy going on but I'm struggling to find an actual cause for this glitch. I updated the PHP version the site uses recently (maybe two weeks ago) so it could be related to that.

Using Chrome?

It's difficult for me to trouble-shoot this because I don't experience it, even on Chrome.

Those of you experiencing this, are you using VPN and/or ad-blockers?

I've reset the forum's cache. Does this fix it for anyone?
