@DinoToyForum, I tried quoting part of a post which had tagged me in it, and in the preview of it, my mention was replaced by strange code.  I removed the mention and posted the post, which seems to have been posted fine.

On the forum? That's normal, the @ mentions are indeed controlled by code, which is usually not visible, but I also sometimes see it when I edit posts and in previews. You can ignore it - the code is parsed in the final posts.
