I actually have always liked articulated jaws. I like to do photography with my figures so it gives me more options. I don't really mind the extra seam lines. Although I can see why others don't like it. It would be nice to see some more closed mouth therapods though I agree.

Do you think the Brachiosaurus will be released before the Chinese new year ?
I don't remember what happened what happened with the Alamosaurus last year.

Not sure if they will release the Brachiosaurus before the Chinese New Year Holidays. This depends also on whether these paint schemes that we have seen are the final ones (I am afraid this is the case) or if they may still include one more classic one as they have done for each and every of their previous sauropod figures.

I recall that the Alamosaurus went up for pre-order in December the year before and was then produced and shipped in January 2024. So this was completed before the Chinese New Year Holidays and then for obvious reasons there was quite a long gap in the release schedule.

I wonder if Brachiosaurus variants are final too. We had these stegosaurus before mass production:

Precisely why I'm holding off judgement until we see pics of the actual figure. All we have now are incredibly blurry images of the box and catalogue.

I am not satisfied with any Concavenator currently on the market. So I hope HLG's one will be the one to finally enter my collection.

I agree that there is currently no satisfactory figure for me for the Concavenator and unfortunately this figure of Haolonggood will not change that. For me, there is no credible explanation for the elongated vertebrae just in front of the pelvis. Actually, these bones should also have a function and perhaps provide attachment points for muscles. Simply wrapping these bones tightly like a dromedary's hump still does not seem plausible to me.
The bones as a tail support, as some models with extended back sails are, is more interesting. But apart from the notorious display function, I wonder why so many other dinosaurs could hold their tails so horizontally. But it is a miracle anyway, what has been reinforced with bones in dinosaurs and conversely, what physical ad-ons mammals can create without these reflecting in the skeleton. See horns, humps or trunks.
Therefore, I hope for more finds of Concavenator - as with some other candidates - that will bring further insights into the function of the dorsal line. Until then, I'll stick with my favorite models, which are really a bit thin and shrinkwrapped.
I see the higher raised head of HLG as the typical counter-movement in the current models, especially from China, because about 10 years ago many interpretations had far-stretched heads with flatter neck lines.

I also have no personal interest in getting another Concavenator due to already owning the perfectly good Carnegie Collection one.

I for one am quite excited. As a 1/35 collector my only other option was Safari's which, while alright, is somewhat lacking in detail and has an odd skull. But this HLG one is pretty much perfect to my eyes!

I'm definitely curious to see if the HLG version has proto-feathers on its arms.

Hong Kong Toy Fair is today. Hopefully we'll get some interesting info.

Good news for Huayangosaurus enjoyers who didn't want to buy the argent.

Great photos thanks! The brachiosaurs look great. I'm surprised to see the Huayangosaurus returning! Different colors but nice to see that others will have a chance to get them. I see the concavenators are still in the box, or I guess not produced yet?

Brachiosaurus!!!

Return of huayangosaurus as another preorder.

Joliezac

Oh lol nevermind about the Huayangosaurus then... But wow these look amazing. I really want the blue version. I just hope they aren't more than $100... I want to get one at the preorder price but I'm still recovering from the Argentinosaurus.

Samrukia

seems like for the first time i am going to have 2 variants of the same figure (Huayangosaurus) because i am definitely preordering this Brachi. just can't decide between grey and green..

Samrukia

too big for 1:35 though, isn't it

Blade-of-the-Moon

Need to see more pics but leaning toward the green or brown? Love they kept the spines on the neck. :)

Actually it feels a bit short! Tmk a 1:35 brachi should be a similar size to or even taller than Argent.

DefinitelyNOTDilo

If there are any forum members here who are attending the toy fair, I'd greatly appreciate it if they could get some pictures of any unreleased models, including conc, in the booklet!
