Saurolophus is easily the most exciting of the bunch in my book. I shudder at the thought of another massive sauropod, although the size of the Torosaurus has me wondering if these silhouettes are in scale with each other? Either way, this teaser is giving me yet another pause on purchasing the Argentinosaurus.

Excited to see HLG branching out into extant animals as well! Not because I collect them but but because I know it will at least give me a bit of a break in buying their releases here and there  ;)

SenSx

Very surprised by the new mammalians !
If those are prehistoric, it means we could expect a Paraceratherium.

I'm very surprised to see a prehistoric croc: a Deinosuchus ? Or Purusaurus ?
But I'm not sure to like the pose.

Saurolophus, Giganotosaurus, a large sauropod, Tyrannosaurus, Deinosuchus, a small sauropod and Torosaurus

I don't know Rick, it looks fake, the size between the silhouettes is innaccurate, and that Giganotosaurus silhouette is straight up taken from this image on wikipedia: https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giganotosaurus_carolinii#/media/Archivo:Giganotos_Db.jpg

And I swear I have seen that Saurolophus somewhere...

They could be placeholder outlines to tease this year's planned animals? Perhaps we can expect a more official catalogue login image from Haolonggood down the road with the actual 3D sculpts in place like what we got last year.

suspsy

Assuming that this image is legitimate, then those are clearly modern animals at the bottom. Which are very welcome so long as they maintain the same quality as the prehistoric toys.

I'm going to hold off posting any news announcement on the blog until Haolonggood releases a clearer, official image.

I am super excited for that prehistoric croc!

Although most of my collection is extant, I doubt I'd replace these common animals with what I already have

ceratopsian

I don't collect extant animals and don't plan to start. However, I can see it might prove a good business model long term for Haolonggood. After all, they have been making dinosaurs at a tremendous pace and there are only so many available from which to create models, especially if they stick to 1:35 and only animals with reasonably extensive remains. Another line would be a good plan.

I sure wouldn't mind a 1/35 pachyderm for my extant/extinct elephant collection.

Duna

I would love a 1:35 elephant to go with the sauropods or other dinosaurus.

If they figures are to scale, I'd say the small ceratopsian could be Arrhinoceratops.

suspsy

An Asian elephant bull would be wonderful. I've been wanting one for a long time now, but CollectA and Safari have thus far failed to deliver.

This looks like a very cool lineup. Particularly I'm quite interested in the prehistoric croc. It's cool to see them expand into modern animals, especially if they are in 1:35 scale.

Paleofiguras says the planned scale is 1:18

I think the new CollectA African Bush Elephant is around 1:35 scale for those who are looking for one.

Yes I own that one.
It's between the average size and maximum size for the specie.

this picture reminds me of similar 2023 picture

i remember some of these were also silhouettes from wikipedia etc
that picture gave general idea of what to expect and not actual models

oscars_dinos

while the extant animals are interesting, I just worry about the detailing, I hope they are able to refine the sculpt detail, I think working from extant animals will prove interesting given their whole two color variant options, might be cool if they offer an albino version or something, but yeah I worry how there sculpting detail will transfer to a crocodilian

As avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy recommends, avatar_Duna @Duna , the CollectA (new) one is superb.
