According to X, this is just a fraction of Haolonggood's planned assortment for 2025

Sim

Thanks avatar_Pinbacker @Pinbacker, I hope that's true as nothing in the image interested me except for the Deinosuchus(?).  I hope Haolonggood making modern animals doesn't hinder their prehistoric animal production, the amount and pace of Haolonggood's dinosaurs the last two years was needed and appreciated by me.

Quote from: thomasw100 on January 13, 2025, 02:33:07 PMIf the silhouettes on the title page are indicators of new figures to come, I think that I see the following species: Shantungosaurus, Saurolophus?, Sarcosuchus?, one smaller sauropod, a new T-rex, a chasmosaurine ceratopsian.

Deinosuchus is awesome news!!! I hope it comes with an articulated jaw like the Rebor one.
Saurolophus is also great news, a classic species that deserves more attention.
I think the big sauropod probably gonna be Dreadnoughtus and hopefully the small one is Saltasaurus.

Does anyone know who is behind this fan account? I noticed that this is person is friendly and enthusiastic only as long as comments are praising Haolonggood and everything they are doing. As soon as you make a slightly more critical comment, this is over.

KrazyKaprosuchus

If that's really a Deinosuchus that's great news that they're branching out more from just dinosaurs in the prehistoric department, but I hope the integument is actually accurate unlike Rebor's.

Is there another sauropod's head next to "nuevos" ?

Is that Sauroposeidon or Brachiosaurus that we know.

I also thought that, but on close inspection, I think is just a light reflection, there is no body silhouette to be found.

Quote from: Duna on January 13, 2025, 03:30:51 PMI would love a 1:35 elephant to go with the sauropods or other dinosaurus.
nIf they figures are to scale, I'd say the small ceratopsian could be Arrhinoceratops.
As avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy recommends, avatar_Duna @Duna , the CollectA (new) one is superb.

Can concur. It's the one I have in my collection. I hope they remake their Asian Elephant to the same standard.

Seems like there's two sauropods in the new teaser. One small and one large. The large one looks to be a titanosaur of some sort?

One good way to ID them would be to find out the artwork that the silouettes were based off of. The Deinosuchus is The Isle's render, and the Torosaurus is cisiopurple's.

I ment there is something looks like a brachiosaur head next to word "nuevos"

No body though so its probably light reflection as avatar_MLMjp @MLMjp mentioned.

If those are prehistoric, it means we could expect a Paraceratherium.

I'm very surprised to see a prehistoric croc: a Deinosuchus ? Or Purusaurus ?
But I'm not sure to like the pose.

The little sauropod could be Europatitan. As a proponent of little sauropods, I would be all over that.

Your first observation was absolutely correct. There is a neck and head and you can see the trunk of the body and a foot shining though behind that Deinosuchus. Furthermore, there is a tail below the tail of what appears to be a T. rex. One has to look at this picture from a little distance to see this.

No, what avatar_Turkeysaurus @Turkeysaurus was talking about is how the light reflection on the left of the word Nuevos looked like the head of an even bigger sauropod than the one that's already there, but it's not the case.

There is only one large sauropod in the picture, not two (there is also small sauropod on the right) The body parts you talk about belong to the only large sauropod on the image.

I'm glad deinosuchus getting the attention it needs last couple of years.

I'm old enough to remember media was acting like Sarcosuchus was the ultimate supercroc. Dark times for deinosuchus fans.

Yes, I asked him. He is a good friend of Elsa. So he gets information from them by first hand. He writes in Spanish and in English. He is a 100% confiable source.
Maybe your critics could be directed to Haolonggood directly, but he has told me in Twitter he would communicate the question/suggestion I asked to them.

It is Dreadnoughtus!! YESSS!

That render image that looks like the shadow of the large sauropod is from Paleokhris, and it is my favourite depiction of Dreadnoughtus. PLEASE HLG make it with that thick neck please!

Deinosuchus from the isle

I hope this is correct. I want an excuse to purge the Rebor Deinosuchus.

I have the Rebor Deinosuchus and dire wolf, and I am not crazy about them; I got them because they are interesting taxa. And with the pending end to Rebor (is that confirmed) I have been thinking about purging both from my collection. It would be nice to replace them however, and a Haolonggood Deinosuchus would be spectacular. I don't care how big it is either LOL.

BTW these silhouettes might just be for tease; the final products might be in different poses.
