Blade-of-the-Moon

At least it will have changeable parts so it can be updated as each new paper is published lol

Oh goodness, well now I know! Thank you for posting the images for me <3

Pliosaurking

Here's the Pachycephalosaurus done up! Looks gorgeous!

Flaffy

I still wish the head was a single piece. The seamline around the interchangeable dome & horns are noticeable.

Pliosaurking

Here's a picture of the Cryolophosaurus and 1:35 Allosaurus Jimmadseni! They look fantastic although I still the Allosaurus Fragilis is my favourite of the 3 paint schemes. New round of pre orders next week!

Blade-of-the-Moon

I guess if I'm going to triple dip then Allosaurus is my best bet..it's my fav dino after all lol  It can join my two current 1:18 BOTM and Cyberzoic Allos.

Giganotosaurus

Apparantly, both 1/35 Allosaurus's are going to be up for pre-order next week for a summer release!!
Mosasurus on Jurassic Mainframe and JPToys
Angurius on TohoKingdom

I love all the Jurassic movies, plus Disney's Dinosaur

I stumbled across the picture of the 1/35 Allosaurus prototypes on instagram a few days ago, they took me by surprise! Currently no Allosaurus is good enough for me so these two going up for preorder soon is good news.

Will the A.fragilis get a new paint too? Personally I was fine with the 1/18 A.jimmadseni's colors, (new one is alright) but the blue crest of the A.fragilis didn't quite fit with the rest of the green color scheme in my opinion.

I'm with you on that fear. I also have to say that the green Allosaurus color scheme was ghastly on the final product. The prototypes always look stellar, but it really feels the final products have been, uh, not as good to put it nicely.

At this point, I'm just really waiting for the Stegosaurus because the Hammond Collection one will be the TLW retrosaur and I'd rather a real one for my shelves.

The new stands work well to support the two Allos I have and the new raptor.

The green Allosaurus isn't bad per se, it just doesn't blend as well as the Brown Cyberzoic Allos does.  The green Iguana was also done before, Rebor pulled it off well enough.  I think it was said the Cyberzoic A. Fragilis would have different colors too.

Here's the 1:35 Allosaurus Fragilis! Definitely going to grab one of these!

Blade-of-the-Moon

Almost looks like a juvenile of the same animal.

So, no changes to A.fragilis coloration then

I wonder why they made the effort for A.jimmadseni.

I was under the impression that Big Al would eventually get a BotM colour scheme alongside the darker Cyberzoic one. And vice versa for the A. fragilis?

The red iguana colours look very pleasing to my eye. Wasn't a big fan of the blue crests on the A. fragilis so I'm glad there's an alternative.

I like the stronger orange stripes best, has it been confirmed that's going to get a full sized version?

I asked David, his response:

"It's likely to happen at some point, but not this year."

Lana posted pics of the Cyberzoic Achillobator in hand. It looks stunning. Better than the BotM version imo. Kinda wish the feather collar wasn't a floating piece though.

Blade-of-the-Moon

I received my Achillobator from Lana a few weeks ago. The coloration is nice if again, pretty dark.

I sort of feel like maybe they are putting more into the Cyberzoic designs/colors than the BotM?

I think that's likely just because these species were designed Cyberzoic first, so the BOTM colourschemes are the alternate versions.

Considering the previous WWD homages they have done (T.rex, Torosaurus...) it is weird the new paint scheme for A. jimmadseni isn't inspired by WWD's Big Al.
