I just got my Nanmu Spino 2 Pharos edition. Number 936/1000.

I never owned a Nanmu figure but the trex head paint app seems quite bad. One eye is just white. And the Spino itself seems meh. Is this normal? I attached pictures so if people can let me know if I should return it.

Your pics are pretty small to my viewing.  The Rex head has a white eye due to being dead I guess?  The Spino looks about right. This is one of their older pieces and they have improved since.

yeah I could not upload full size as it wont let me due to size.
Will post links instead.
I thought the 1.0 was older and 2.0 had improved paint?

The head looks a bit messy but then that's sorta the point?  The rest of the paint looks ok by me?   This was release before the last two Spinosaurus models as I recall? So slightly older.

From a novice standpoint, I like the spinos color and don't see any problems with the paint job. I don't like the eye color, but it is painted fine.

I also think the rex looks appropriately gnarly. The scratch going through the eye would probably make the eye discolored and the blood and scratches look good to me. The scratches on the throat and the decapitation look nice and bloody. The shiny parts on the head looks like the spino drooled on it. I think the t-rex head is fine, IMO.

Personally, from what I see I don't think I'd send it back or complain about it.

So it came out before the DX and Standard Supplanter 2?

Yeah it's not bad at all. From YouTube reviews of Supplanter 2 it didn't look as good.
