"If your not going to release it

DONT TEASE IT!!!!"

Or to put it another way:

"Don't be like Rebor."

Who's gonna release next giant carcharadontosaurid and spinosaurus first between REBOR or Mesozoic Life?  :))

My Haolonggood T. rex is here, so I've decided to throw a little T. rex party.

My favourite T. rex toy is still probably the 1/35 BOTM one, but as far as non-articulated dinosaurs (which I feel are a different category all together), I've not been overly satisfied with any lipped T. rex that has released so far. My favourite T. rex model up until now has been PNSO's Cameron.

I have issues with each of these models, but weighing all the pros and cons against each other, this Haolonggood T. rex is my new favourite. He's very handsome, which is quite an achievement for such a derpy buck-toothed boy. I also think it may be Haolonggood's best paint work yet.

These are all the 1:35(ish) T. rexes I have easily on hand. All my older ones are in storage, but I could never hide away my invicta models. They're just too charming.

Beautiful rex collection and photos! Out of those I just have the Rebor. I've been very torn about getting Eofauna & now HLG. PNSO's is great but too pricey for me. The HLG is increasingly tempting!

Well ... I decided to get blue rexie. The positives, IMO, outweigh any negatives. The mouth, rather than being a negative right now, just turned into a positive. Why? Look at those discolored teeth. Where have I seen them before? Jackson's LOTR trilogy - the Mouth of Sauron. Clearly they must see the same dentist, who doesn't believe in teeth whitening. On the blue version, it seems to me that the discoloration largely camouflages the teeth, blending them into the surrounding skull, when seen from a bit of distance, which I think is kind of subtle.

Looks like Haolonggood t rex might have some scars on its snout! It might be a slight color variation though.FB_IMG_1744802464315.jpg

That gap is so bad.

The inescapable presence of that gap (as well as the lack of lips, especially noticeable on the upper jaw) is a strong incentive to leave the mouth at least slightly open.

I was considering getting this guy, but that gap made getting it a definite "no" in my book.

It's wild that there's that much of a gap. I noticed the mismatch in the curvature of the lower and upper jaw in the initial images, but I figured that the model being lipless would allow the mouth to close tighter to fully seal.

oscars_dinos

I don't think I was ever going to be tempted by this rex, the scale work is nice and I do think over all it shoes hlg improving but yeah im waiting to see what they cook next, especially the extant animals, will we be talking about those here? They aren't exactly Dinos so

I've ordered the blue variant, as I still think that its virtues outweigh its flaws. Especially that paint work- just outstanding.

I couldn't resist just grabbing both of them. I paid more than that for Cameron, and some posters sitting in a box in a closet.

Who knows, I may follow your example once I have blue rex in hand!

Dino_W

Will the Alamosaurus ever restock?

Over9K

Oh man... I don't do the resin stuff, but the Stegosaurus is seriously tempting!

Blue showed up today, and immediately fell in with a bad crowd...

Those retro T.rexes. *-*  I hope some company will make a line of dinosaurs from old paintings.
