A lipless Mosasaurus is of as much merit nowadays as a skillet with holes in it.

Wait, where are you getting Mosasaurus from? It wasn't on the initial teaser.

Between the size comparison and the photo now I guess they only did it twice (or hey, maybe just once, and their model just happens to heavily resemble that animatronic) but I hope they don't make it a pattern.

In their defense, this second image here was posted by the fan account, so they may have made it without the actual company's input.

I'm not really interested in another Mosasaurus either; but maybe it could open the door to other members of the family getting figures too, like Platecarpus or Globidens. Now that would be a treat.

Trenchcoated Rebbachisaur

...Platecarpus would be lovely. Globidens I'd be a bit less wild about but chances are anybody making a Gobidens would make the mouth gape to show off their iconic winning smile, so having a happy Globidens and a serious-looking Platecarpus to match would be a great little displaying situation.

If marine reptiles at large came on the menu for HLG though... Gosh. My wallet wouldn't be happy, but I sure would be - especially if they got around to such leviathans as Ichthyotitan, Perucetus and Basilosaurus.

Yea they got to make an Ichthyotitan, it would be as hype as the Argentinosaurus, this and a Plesiosaur and Plisiosaur.

A super underrated mosasaur I'd love to see is Plotosaurus, not only does it have an extremely flat head, but its body is very reminiscent of large ichthyosaurs.

Thing is that at some point this fan account started to make cheap AI animations of some of the Haolonggood figures. This caused a shitstorm from paleoartists and got the fan account actually into some trouble with Haolonggood. The fan account had to add a disclaimer that they are not in any way representing the company and they had to rename their account. So we need to take anything that comes from this fan account with a grain of salt.

Haolongood fans has posted a fragment of Jurassic World Dominion's prologue, specifically the one where the Giganotosaurus jaws are shown and then the Iguanodon. With this phrase: The only time these two have been able to see each other face to face...

Guess we are getting the Giganotosaurus after the Iguanodon then.

Incoming replies of I have no interest/don't care about Giganotosaurus... In my case, I hope it has lips and a color scheme so gorgeous that makes me replace my Safari Zebranotosaurus (but that's a very difficult task).

Trenchcoated Rebbachisaur

Giganotosaurus is not as bad as T.rex, figure saturation wise. I am cautiously interested. Even if they don't give it lips (in which case I'm probably skipping it), chances are it'll be nice to look at on pictures by the people who do get it.

suspsy

Pity it's apparently not Deinosuchus next, but I could use a break from buying anyway.

If it has a paint job as good as the T. rex I could be interested in a Giganotosaurus from HLG. The Carnegie Giganotosaurus is still the only one I have! I like the Carnegie model a lot and don't have much interest in Giganotosaurus but it might be time to get a newer representative.

JimoAi

giganotosaurus is a genus I have no interest in getting. Same with iguanodon.

suspsy

My only Giganotosaurus toy is also the Carnegie one and I feel no urge to replace it or add to it.

I wish Haolonggood would make a lovely black and white group poster like they did for last year.

Wait those two are really great for me since i don't have any figure of them. I wanted to get the PNSO giga but my wallet can't handle another Museum release. Hope they have interesting color schemes and lips for the giga

I definitely would not be replacing it! I won't part with any Carnegie model from that era.

I think we alwready have a plethora of good Giganotosaurus to choose, not interested (which is great, I remember some years ago the poor guy was missing good representations).

Trenchcoated Rebbachisaur

The Carnegie Giga will almost definitely have an incredibly different vibe from any accuraccy minded modern figure, I don't think anybody needs to worry about replacing them with a HLG Giga. Or a Nanmu or Marx Giga, if the latter existed, for that matter.

Stegotyranno420

Carnegie giga is irreplaceable for me. And I dont even have it. I rather buy it than a sci-accurate Giga tbh. It is my white whale, so to speak  ;)
