Paleofiguras posted the following statement:

"Another figure that we will have from the brand soon - in addition to the aforementioned Giganotosaurus carolini and Shantungosaurus giganteus - is a Euhelopus zdanskyi."

Ajax88

I want that dang Shantungo next. My collection is really lacking big Hadrosaurs.

Turkeysaurus

Would you get Haolonggood or wait for Boundless World ?

Berno

So I asked the Haolonggod Fans account if the Giganotosaurus will be lipped or lipless, and I got this picture as a response:

Joliezac

Man I really want a lipped Giga in my collection

Turkeysaurus

If Giga is lipless i wonder if it would be worth buying it instead of PNSO Mapusaurus or even Tyrannotitan. They are not as expensive as museum line models and just look like Giganotosaurus.

The Haolonggood fan account posted that

1) the next figure that will be released would be Giganotosaurus

2) after that the next three figures going into production in the next few months would be Iguanodon, Shantungosaurus and Euhelopus

Aw shucks, I guess I'll have to see the price and quality of the Boundless world and HLG Shants before I decide on which one to get. Kinda almost wish HLG would decide to switch Shant out to let BW breathe a bit but I guess that's not how companies work  :*D

Euhelopus  :o
Should've figured that the 'local genus' privilege would make them prioritize it over the European island dwarves. Unless they really mess it up that's definitely a genus I'll be picking up (sooner or later), love myself some dwarf Sauropods, even if Euhelopus is a lonely loser who only shares its formation with stuff like turtles and fish. Welp, I guess that used to be true for Carnotaurus, and it still managed.

Getting a lipped Giga finally would be neat. Not sure if I'd end up getting one, though, don't think I am quite ready to commit to getting the Argentinosaurus alongside it quite yet. Wrong formations, I know, but they're an iconic duo by now.

suspsy

Of course the Deinosuchus and the Torosaurus are not coming anytime soon.  >:(

Paleofiguras just posted a "teaser":

I'm 10x more excited to see herbivore toys in general, and I'm especially excited for Shantungosaurus and Iguanodon. We have so many good Giga/Giga relative models already (mostly lipless) so it's hard to get excited by this for me.
This Haolonggood Giganotosaurus would REALLY benefit from having lips to help stand out.

Same here, although I really want to see the Deinosuchus.
I don't think this Giga will have lips.

Honestly I do not understand why Haolonggood would go for a lipless Giganotosaurus. PNSO has a good Giganotosaurus and their Tyrannotitan would be a good substitute in case one does not want to spend the extra amount for a museum line model.

Haolonggood could really attract many additional customers if they would make a lipped Giganotosaurus. OK their paint jobs are really outstanding but the PNSO Giganotosaurus and Tyrannotitan have really good paint designs as well.

I don't think it will have lips either.
My herbivore toy preference only really applies to dinosaurs, and is just because herbivorous dinosaurs are far more visually and morphologically diverse than carnivorous dinosaurs.
Crocs are a different story. I'm really excited to see the upcoming Haolonggood Deinosuchus. Besides the Shant, that one might be my most anticipated figure from Haolonggood this year.

I agree. It will take a lot to compete with all the PNSO offerings if their new Giga is lipless. The Mapusaurus in particular is comparatively cheap for how big and beautiful it is.

I think they are making all the famous theropods lipless to please a bigger audience, and chinese people apparently still prefer lipless.
And even if there are alwready many of them on the market, it still sells.

Plus it will allow them for round 2 with lips next time.

Only the less known species that mostly interest collectors have lips immediately.

Elengassen

At least they can make a lipless Deinosuchus without this being inaccurate  ;D
One day we will know the truth about Spinosaurus... but not today.

If I buy Eofauna now, you are the reason.

I have waited so long for my moment to come.

All this teaser really tells us is that the Giga will have a blue variant  :*D
