JOLIEZAC:

There are conflicting reports that the US has agreed to a tariff deal with China, so I'll wait and see what happens.

I'm from North Carolina originally and when Nanmu first announced the Therizinosaurus, I googled any connection with NC and found none, so I didn't preorder when Lana's shipping was free.
I googled Therizinosaurus again today and quickly found two NC connections---paleontologists Lindsay Zanno and Dale Russell, both were at my alma mater, NC State University, have significant connections to Therizinosaurus, so now I want to order one.

the Therizinosaurus was meant to be shipping this week for me but still no dispatch email.

I received a shipping confirmation email just yesterday so not to worry, they are indeed rolling them out!

Joliezac

I received an email too that it was shipped. I'm sure yours either has or will soon.

I emailed Lana Time as soon as the 90-day tariff agreement was announced on May 12 and asked if the Therizinosaurus shipping would return to free shipping, but I still haven't received a reply.

It was still $12.50 when I added it to the cart this morning.

The past two days Lana Time's website doesn't work for me on Firefox.

On Chrome. I get, "This site can't be reached....ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR".

Anyone else have trouble with Lana Time's website?

(I'm also having trouble on Amazon and YouTube----ever since the Windows 11 update on May 16).

I'm having no issues. I use Chrome.

JOLIEZAC:

Thanks for the info.
Did you get the Windows 11 updates on May 16 and 19?
On Chrome, I still get Protocol Error. On Firefox, Lana Time doesn't work for me and Amazon barely functions.
I never got a reply from Lana Time about the tariff deal and the $12.50 shipping fee.

I hope Microsoft clears this mess up soon.

No I have been avoiding the windows 11 update for a while now. I'm on windows 10. Odd for Lanatime to not respond, I had to email them about an issue with my order and they responded within 2 days.

JOLIEZAC:

I finally got onto Lana Time and saw this:
IN STOCK!!!

"The Nanmu Studio Therizinosaurus Claw Spike Figure is now in stock. Orders shipped to the United States are duty-free, so no additional fees will be required upon delivery.

If your order hasn't been shipped yet, please feel free to contact us to confirm your address. Once confirmed, we'll ship it out as soon as possible. Thank you!"

I put the Nanmu Therizinosaurus in my cart and the shipping is still $12.50.........so apparently the $12.50 shipping is not the same as "duty-free, so no additional fee".

It means after the basic shipping there will be no tariff fees billed.

BLADE-IN-THE-MOON:

Thanks for clarifying that.

Maybe I'll stick with my short-clawed Papa Therizinosaurus. >:(

Blade-of-the-Moon

It really does help to just message them. I do so on FB, it always helps and they can explain it better.  12.50 isn't bad as it's tariff free and no tax as well.

Nanmu shared the Spino is coming to the poseable line with a teaser today.

Got my Therizinosaurus today! So glad to finally have this figure in hand. Unfortunately the quality doesn't look as good to me as their other statue models, it feels like this figure was almost rushed after fans wanted it after the teaser so long ago. Nonetheless its pretty cool to have next to the giga and rex. I'd upload photos but I genuinely don't understand how to upload photos on here. Whenever I drag files in and upload them nothing shows up.

Received mine today as well. Examining it closely there are a lot details in it, feathers and scales, eyes are well done, even very tiny sharp teeth.  That said I think the neck maybe a bit too straight?  So for me it's mainly some pose issues.  The claws are also very..blue? in the film paint version.

You'll notice I'm not using the other blood splatter yet. I think I might make a clear hanging piece and attach it to that. Not a big fan of the sticky mount method.

Yeah I don't want to use the sticky method either, trying to figure out a way I can attach it without damaging the Giga. Maybe I'll use a clear rubber band. I don't think it will be noticeable when its up on the shelf.

That could work for awhile. I was thinking about those silly arrow through the head gags lol Just hard to adjust for other dinos.

Thank you for sharing those pictures (nice staging by the way 8) ) as well as your knee-jerk comment.
Actually, they are most useful since I was still hesitating between this model and the PNSO's one for my Gobi collection.
Given your remarks, I'll certainly keep my first idea ie PNSO.
