GODZILLA---Toho is developing two Godzilla sequels and a third original movie. The GODZILLA MINUS ONE sequel with director Takashi Yamazaki returning starts filming in August and will have a bigger budget, scale and action scenes than the original movie. The sequel's synopsis says, "In postwar Japan, Godzilla brings new devastation to an already scorched landscape. With no military intervention or government help in sight, the survivors must join together in the face of despair and fight back against an unrelenting horror". The sequel to SHIN GODZILLA is also underway. Toho's third Godzilla movie will focus on a Godzilla adversary monster.

It would be nice to see some other kaiju get the Minus One treatment, Mothra is the first that comes to mind. All of these movies have my interest piqued.

Once again, Toho has no idea what to do with Godzilla, so they're just going to do all of it.

Sequel in the current continuity? YES!!

Sequel in the previous continuity, that has been dormant for 10 years? SURE!!

How about a first film, in a totally new continuity?? OK!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey wait... remember that animated series??? SEASON 2!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh... and about those Monsterverse Films from Legendary.... hope you want more... CAUSE HERE THEY COME!!!

Market saturated yet?

I've liked everything Godzilla that has come out over the last decade (except both the animated shows) so I'm not going to complain. Shin probably doesn't need a sequel but I like that movie and it's Godzilla design.

Oh, I want to see all of it. I just feel the probability of all of it coming to fruition is pretty much nil. Toho is well known for early-hype on projects that never actually come to pass.

Toho are the REBOR of movie studios.

I was not aware of that! Well if nothing else I hope we at least get a Minus One sequel, but even that film doesn't really need one. I'm sure that one will be the priority what with how popular it was.

I think the Minus One sequel is real, and Season 2 of the Netflix series, and Legendary isn't stopping any time soon.

The Shin sequel seems unlikely, and I am willing to bet actual spending money that the Monster Melee film being talked about is actually Minus 2, which will feature Anguirus, and maybe Mothra. Yamazaki has already done his King Ghidorah film, with Godzilla The Ride, so I feel like he scratched that itch.

Im worried if Toho will do a second millenium era, which Im not a big fan of this era movie due I saw toho was desesperate to milk godzilla and show the real godzilla after zilla. My fave one is GMK due its different and its done by the same guy who did heisei gamera movies.
I would love a minus one sequel.
Netflix anime sequel? Not sure about this, it was more an experiment. I didnt know most of the time what they were saying but I enjoyed the monster designs.
Legendary of course will continue specially with 2 more shows with code names: Cryptozoology and I dont believe, I know. I hope one these will be about monarch space/xenobiology division.
About shin 2, not very fond due I think shin works perfectly as its own. I remember what the father of my fiancee said me about shin godzilla: Despite he is a japanese man raised in osaka he wasnt fond with shin due the grotesque look and too evangelion. He preffered the legendary ones, specially kotm look due it reminded him to the heisei godzilla but with modern vfx. Its animalistic and realistic but dont losing its mythic god like status.
Also Anno last movies are the opposite to evangelion and shin godzilla. Shin Ultraman and Shin Kamen Rider are more wacky and fun than their previous works...clearly he dragged a big depression
Between the time when the oceans drank Atlantis and the rise of the sons of Aryas, there was an age undreamed of. And unto this, Conan, destined to wear the jeweled crown of Aquilonia upon a troubled brow. It is I, his chronicler, who alone can tell thee of his saga. Let me tell you of the days of high adventure!
