Hi, I'm glad I found this forum - not just for toy collecting but I hope I can find general input for dinosaurs. In the nineties I had a lot of books and "knowledge" about Dinosaurs, but apart from some tv documentariesthis century my knowledge is frozen in that time long long ago (kinda fitting). I would like to get a new overview about science newest findings about dinosaurs.

And I try to get my hand on some of the more real looking Dinosaur figures for displaying and photography, too

 :)

Welcome to the forum! I hope you enjoy your stay and all the discussion. Be sure to check out the main Blog if you haven't already; there are plenty and plenty of solid reviews and scientific information to peruse there!

If you're looking for a good place to start with collectibles, you might like the Official Top 10 Polls section, for some good shortlists of figures worth acquiring (and the science behind them).
We also have a Book Recommendations thread, if you'd like to seek out some quality reading material. And of course, ask as many questions as you'd like and folks will be happy to oblige!

You will be impressed with how dinosaurs have aged ;)
Good companies for realistic photography i will recommend are Rebor, Papo, PNSO in order of least to most accurate. Of course Safari Ltd is still doing well since the 80s and 90s and is as prosperous as ever.

If you're interested in photography, track down previous years' diorama competition threads. Some of the entries have been outstanding.
