Does anyone have any tips for taming a Carno in ARK? I am on the South Zone 1 Beach, and the Carno is on the other side of the water.

Yeah I can help with this. What level are you and what engrams do you have unlocked currently? Like do you have at least tranq arrows (bow or crossbow, etc)? Do you have a way to build a four by four foundation trap with 2 walls high, using single doorways to escape (with ramps/stairs to lead it in)? There's cheaper traps on youtube but it's the one I kind of prefer since it is easy for me to remember. I can screencap the trap I made a while back once I'm on the laptop. If you don't have cryopods yet I would recommend placing a dino gate for the Carno to get out once tamed.

Also kibble or raw prime meat are recommended to feed it once it is knocked out. I would suggest checking dododex (website or app) for the exact specifics based on level and taming rate.

Edit: Here is the trap I made a while back. I used pillars under the ramps to provide extra foundation support as needed.

I do have crossbow and tranq arrows, and thanks for the trap idea!
