My parcel is missing...

Hi dino lovers!

I seem to be writing where one can discuss abstract topics...

I visit this forum daily without logging in. Now that I have a problem with a product that is not related to figure collecting, I still came here because I have no one else to ask.

I ordered boots from a well-known store in the USA. Since the store does not ship the goods to my country, I used an intermediary company, which is also one of the largest postal companies within my country. So: the store had to send the goods to an intermediary address using us ps, from where the parcel was supposed to be sent directly to me.

On February 6, I received a report from the store about the shipment of the goods.
On February 11th I received a letter that the parcel arrived at the destination address (ofc, for the store this is the final address, in fact the address of the intermediary).
Without receiving confirmation from the intermediary company, I contacted them, initiating proceedings.
Now the intermediary company informs me that my parcel is not in their warehouse, from which they conclude that the parcel was not delivered to this address. They recommend contacting the store with a claim about non-receipt of the goods.

I assume that the package was left at the door of the intermediary company, which is a common practice in the West. The employees of the intermediary company did not pick up the box on time and someone stole it.

What can i do in this situation? It's not like I'm a good communicator - what should I write in a letter to the store? Is it necessary to mention the intermediary? Is it worth contacting the postal service that sent the parcel across the United States (a certain FedEx)? Or do i have no chance to get my boots or money back? If any of you have encountered similar situations, please write about your experience.

Thank you for reading.

I would recommend contacting the service used (the intermediary) and/or the shipper and getting an investigation started. Was there any tracking number involved? That may become of use for getting an investigation going.

Alternatively could also contact customer support for where you got those boots, explain the product was not received or delivered to the correct address, and you didn't receive the item. Perhaps you could be refunded or they could re-ship the item.
