How many models have been reviewed on the DinoToyBlog?

I question I got recently. How many models have been reviewed on the DinoToyBlog? I'd like to know the answer!

I know, as of writing, there are 2236 review on the blog (excluding posts that are classified as Announcements or Videos).

So, that's the minimum number. But some of those are reviews of multi-figure sets, which contain more than one model. Sometimes they are sold separately, sometimes not. There are also models that consist of more than one species, like the Carnegie Collection Ichthyosaurus that has an ammonite in its mouth. I think that would still count as one figure though, agreed?

I can't think of a clever way to calculate this without manually counting. Any suggestions? If not, I may need to crowdsource.

I had an idea how to calculate this. In Wordpress I have access to a table of how many times each genus name has been used to tag a review. I've exported this to Excel. I tallied these all up and it equals 2684. So, that's a good ball-park figure for the number of models.

However, this doesn't account for reviews that contain more than one model of the same genus. For example:

https://dinotoyblog.com/dilophosaurus-pair-carnegie-collection-by-safari-ltd/ 1 review, 1 genus, 2 models

https://dinotoyblog.com/t-rex-vs-dino-mech-battle-jurassic-world-by-lego/ 1 review, 2 genera, 5 models

These will push the tally up.

Likewise, there are some reviews of single models with more than one genus tag. For example:

https://dinotoyblog.com/apatosaurus-brontosaurus-kaiyodo-dinoland-natural-history-collection/ 1 review, 2 genera, 1 model

These will push the tally down.

Can you think of any other caveats?

So, I need to account for these anomalies if I want to be completely accurate. If we could list all the reviews that are anomalies I could manually amend the tally.

Yeah, this would have been my first thought.

The only other oddballs I can think of are things whose manufacturer didn't specify a genus, like the Furkan statues: https://dinotoyblog.com/thyreophoran-furkan/

Actually, those anomalies get in the tally because they have a 'genus' tag "unspecified".
