Well, it's been about a year since the last update but I finally got around to updating the DinoRidersWorld site with some cool new stuff - particularly, tons of rare prototype pictures.  The update highlights are as follows:

  • The Museum Section has been completely redesigned.  View never before seen prototypes, design sketches and tons of other pre-production materials.

A new Publications section has been added, which features Dino Riders related catalogs, advertisements, books and magazines.

    A new
Special Features section has been added and replaces the Downloads and Miscellaneous Sections.

Enjoy!!  Would love to hear your feedback!

Nice sections, I can't wait to check the museum section.  :))

I may take me several days to read everything so I wanted to thank you in advance.  ^-^

I checked it out too, such an exhaustive resource -  the final word on Dinoriders collectibles - excellent job!
I see you updated the link to the forum too, great!  :D

Thanks!  Always happy to provide some enjoyment to the Dino Riders fans out there.  You could definitely spend hours and hours looking at the different stuff that's in there.

The one inherent problem with maintaining a resource on a long-ago cancelled toyline is that there's generally not a lot of new material to report on and thus, the universe of Dino Riders things is more or less fixed.  I think the fact that the site is as comprehensive as it is has a lot to do with this.  It's not like Transformers or He-Man where they're constantly coming out with new toys.  That being the case, often several months go by without any updates.  An update will usually be the result of me having come across another random Dino Riders collectible (I'll basically buy anything that has Dino Riders on it so long as it's an original piece).  One of the coolest things about having created the site is the fact that people have contacted me over the years and alerted me to things I've never known about.  As the years have gone on, the knowledge base has increased, and a lot of this is the result of visitor contributions.

Now if only we can get Mattel to re-do the toyline - properly!

And yes, I finally got around to updating the link to the new forum!  I still need to update the link that's in the Toys section though - one thing at a time I guess.

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?
