Retired BOTM figures and how to get them

The Templar of the Past

Greetings brothers,

This news came as a bit of a shock for me, though not totally unexpected, but I've learned from other forum users that retirement of the Dromaeosaur, Ceratopsid and Tyrannosaur series from the renowned David Silva is impending.

I  have bought two such figures myself(Guanlong and Pyroraptor) and was quite satisfied with them, however I miss many more, which are the following, in order of priority:

Eotyrannus
Mononykus
Zuniceratops
Dromaeosaurus (x2 small)
Stenonychosaurus
Dryptosaurus (x2)
Tsagaan
Adasaurus
Alectrosaurus
Avaceratops
Achillobator
Utahraptor
Pentaceratops
Centrosaurus
Dilophosaurus

What I wanted is advice on how to proceed in getting these figures due to their enomours costs compared to other models and if some of you could lend me their hand in getting them.

Blessings

If you have an account on the creative beast website, you can earn points for each purchase which can eventually culminate into discounts. Most figurine seller sites such as Happy Hen, Everything Dinosaur, and Minizoo have them for sale as well.
You might also keep an eye on ebay. Sometimes you can find in box figures for close to retail price or even lower in some cases.

Also, take a look at some of the forum users' trade threads! There may be some people here selling or trading them if you send a DM.

Got it, what about the more recent figures such as Utahraptor, Achillobator and Dilophosaurus? Also the black Smilodon.

Here's the current stock of the various types of figures (minus the two most recent BotM and Cyberzoic waves in stock. I'll try to make a list of those later tonight), although I might need to revisit and update them as needed. Perhaps these will be of use to have here.

Raptor Series:

Ceratopsian Series:

Tyrannosaur Series:

As far as I can tell, anything that's in stock (not a pre-order) gets you points (though they vary from figure to figure) on the Creative Beast website. The points can be used to drop the cost of future purchases from what I understand.

I know for a fact those are all still on the creative beast website, but the Dilophosaurus was just barely on the cusp of already being discontinued when the shipping company accidentally found a whole crate of them in the warehouse! So that's the one you might want to go for first since that's all that's left of it.

I have several of the tyrannosaurs I'm considering selling including the big 1:18 scale Rex.

Mh, perhaps you could help me space out the tyrannosaurs, do you have Alectrosaurus, a couple Dryptosaurus and Eotyrannus?

That's unfortunate, as far as tyrannosaurs go do you have anything else? Also what about dromaeosaurus and ceratopians?

Yeah I have most of the others, the 1:18 Rex and a couple others. Let me see what I have exactly.  feel free to email me backyardterrors@gmail.com

Good news, the 2 Protoceratops species and Linheraptor 1/18th scale figures have just been restocked on Creative Beast's Website! Although, it was another warehouse crate find like Dilophosaurus so stock may be limited.

Bro that's wild. I got mine off Minizoo a few months back (I think one in April, and the other in May if I recall) lol. This is the second time this has happened to me after the Dilophosaurus (which I got from Everything Dinosaur prior). Just my luck lol. Great news for those in the states (if not elsewhere) that want to get these and were super behind on them like I was. I need to update the links in my post with this info.

Edit: Raptors list is updated now. Lots removed, and one added (see above). Let me know if I've missed something, or something is incorrect. Brother came in the room, and I lost my track of focus near the end. I'll take another look at it later today.

You wouldn't happen to have an Albertosaurus for sale by any chance would you?

If you can manage to get it to me at a lower price than Everything Dinosaur I will gladly take it.

Do you happen to have the 1:18th scale Juvenile rex for sale?
