Yay, it is the magical flying BANDits, also known as the "will you please just get the **** out of the paleo community you idiots" gang.

Please stop posting things like this. Starring out the worst words doesn't undo the nasty tone - it is uncalled for. Thanks.  C:-)
I appreciate this, thank you Dr. Admin.

All the more reason to vote "Yes" for my "More of the same old nonsense" review ( http://www.amazon.com/Riddle-Feathered-Dragons-Hidden-Birds/product-reviews/0300164351/ref=dp_top_cm_cr_acr_txt?ie=UTF8&showViewpoints=1 ) if you haven't already. ;)

Sorry for the self-promotion, but it's for the greater good.

Not to be a hater, but is there no way to post all these links without the profanity. Lots of kids in here these days is all
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

Indeed, you can use url tags to add the link to any text you like. Additionally, it may be a good idea to include a profanity warning for those following the link :)

It is a shame that, to the average layperson, it must almost seems like the dinosaur/bird debate is somehow still going on despite having been soundly settled ages ago.

Hear hear. Its important to remember that Alan Feduccia and the late Larry Martin come from a generation where the prevailing view was that birds came from a different archosaurian ancestor to dinosaurs. That they have never been convinced by the growing evidence showing the opposite may seem strange to most of us, but they are/were serious scientists. I don't think its right that they are abused, this is after all a scientific debate and they both argue from the evidence as they see it. Its just ironic that their once mainstream views have now reversed and they are now in the minority....
