I am doing my first Diorama, it will feature 2 1:72 albertosaurus models (made by Fabricious)
Does anyone know a good looking, affordable way to make a base.

Pachyrhinosaurus

I use Super Sculpey for my bases. Press stones into it for a realistic texture and then press the dinosaur's feet into it. You could also add rocks or cut off ends of plastic plants to add to it. I usually have some brown foam turf, which can be found at a model railroad store, and sprinkle on for more texture.

I painted the Albertosaurus.

He is going to be lying under a  tree.

I sadly can't see the finished picture (it doesn't show up for me), but all the initial stages are looking gorgeous! Great work, I'm glad you liked the model!

fabricious

Thanks, you did a great job with this one!

Here are the runner ups to my submission for the Diorama Contest (worst to best):
King of Crocs:

It just didn't looked the best but i like it :)

Nest Raider:

I liked this one too but the background looked weird and the dinosaurs were too small.

Spotted!:

I really liked this one but my submission was just more interesting.
