One of the first ever taxidermied gorillas, acquired by the museum in 1878, so not entirely accurate ;)

The star of 'crap taxidermy'. Luckily, our museum taxidermist were good at what they did! The gorilla was not taxidermied in house, it was prepared in France and purchased by the museum later. :)
