It's going to be an absolute pain for me to decide on only 10.

That said these are some of the ones I am interested in most, that are not yet present yet:
-Wild Past Protoceratops
-Kaiyodo Dinotales Protoceratops
-Dino Riders Styracosaurus and Monoclonius.

Also the Vitae Sinoceratops deserves some representation, as it is probably the best model out there for this genus currently.

Though I'm not entirely sure if I'll vote for any of the Mattel ceratopsians, or which I would decide on, but there will probably be folks interested in them, so perhaps it is worth adding them as well:

-Microceratus (even if it is an accessory)
-Nasutoceratops
-Pachyrhinosaurus (labeled as Sinoceratops)
-Protoceratops
-Styracosaurus
-Sinoceratops (newly released film canon one)

Lastly I would like to request the Beasts of the Mesozoic Wave 1 Styracosaurus, Diabloceratops, Centrosaurus juvenile/Monoclonius, Protoceratops, Psittacosaurus, and Zuniceratops (Wave 2 and 3 are not releasing until next year but these are releasing either late October or early November). I also have all of those ordered. Though I'm not as interested in them, and did not order these (yet), perhaps for completion sake the Chasmosaurus, Medusaceratops, and Nasutoceratops should probably be added as well with the rest of those. I personally think these are (going to be) some of the best ceratopsian figures made, and I feel it would be a real shame if I would not be able to vote for some of them at least.

Edit: I guess I misread this as ceratopsian, instead of ceratopsid. On a similar note, when mentioning the Dino Riders figures, I had unfortunately forgotten about the Protoceratops one as well, but if this poll is only for ceratopsids, then I suppose that doesn't entirely matter for this. I second avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus suggestion of the Schleich Diabloceratops, and Pentaceratops, as those are probably two of Schleich's nicest dinosaur figures released in the past couple of years.

I was about to say that the lack of Protoceratops here disturbs me, but this isn't a Ceratopsian poll.

Anyway, I'd recommend the PNSO Chasmosaurus. Also, avatar_Sim @Sim, I'm guessing you mean the larger Spinops from PNSO, but there is also the mini figure.

Shonisaurus

Schleich's pentaceratops are missing.

Kaiyodo's kosmoceratops and diabloceratops, Papo's styracosaurus, Schleich's diabloceratops, Collecta's kosmoceratops and chasmosaurus are both a bit loose in their sculpture. Papo's pachyrhinosaurus is also missing this figure is quite acceptable.

Yes, I would also like to see the Kaiyodo Diabloceratops and Kosmoceratops. The Diabloceratops will certainly get a vote from me.

Skorpio V.

Terra by Battat Pachy - There's a certain charm this figure has that puts it over the Wild Safari one for me. Also, it pulls off the odd red and peach combination of colours.

I consider BotM cheating in this list because they are in an entirely different league than these guys imo, but if I had to choose one I really like their Zuniceratops.

CollectA Styracosaurus - there's something about pink styracosaurs with me, but this one (unlike Papo's surprisingly decent attempt) has learned how to eat.  :P

CollectA Regaliceratops - again, there's a certain charm with this toy that gives it an edge, not to mention the great colour scheme.

Papo Pentaceratops - Papo and their pop-culture-based sculpts are great but when they try to be accurate they do it with style, this one is just an example of what they could do if they actually tried glancing at a skeletal

PNSO Spinops - I may know little about spinops but I do know this is a force to be reckoned with. PNSO has been the best example to date of companies being able to put the same amount of amazing effort from their present-day animal line into their prehistoric line and it really shows in this spinops the best.

Safari Ltd. Diabloceratops - the best toy diablo to date, and it's a little unfortunate as it went horn to horn with Schleich's astonishingly wondrous attempt. Schleich does come at a very close second.

That's 7, not including the comparisons I made. Ceratopsians seem to be quite good in mass production aside from their poster child, unlike most other groups and they luckily have some of the best models produced for em.

Crackington

The Kaiyodo Anchiceratops is a nice model (the Dinotales one) and would get a vote from me.

I notice the lists seem to have shifted recently to the modern lines and now exclude the old Marx, Invicta etc so I guess greater scientific accuracy is more to the fore. I won't therefore suggest any old timers like the Marx Styracosaurus, but that's not a bad figure considering it's 60 years old!

I'd second both the Schleich Pentaceratops and their Diabloceratops.

I always suggest and vote for the Invicta model if there is one that's applicable. As for Marx, I quite like their Styracosaurus but sadly it wouldn't make my top ten, so I won't bother suggesting it. I'm struggling to think of many vintage ceratopsoid toys that aren't Triceratops, which has always been the primary choice for every toy company. What we need down the line is a top ten poll just for Marx, or Invicta, or whatever other company. Like we did with Carnegie.

Crackington

That's a fair point avatar_Gwangi @Gwangi, I couldn't think of many old line non-Triceratops models except for the Aurora and Inpro Styracosaurus. However, much as I love those old things I can't say they belong in the list.

Stop press - just thought of a good oldie, the ROM Chasmosaurus - Invicta like model from Canada?

avatar_Crackington @Crackington, I forgot about the ROM Chasmosaurus, but I personally wouldn't vote for it. It's a good one though, if for no other reason than it's a Chasmosaurus.

Shonisaurus

Schleich's diabloceratops is a pretty good model, I understand it should be on the list as I already mentioned.
Also Schleich's pentaceratops although it has body parts that would deserve to be polished is a pretty decent dinosaur, although obviously I would vote earlier for other pentaceratops figures before this one.

Bokisaurus

Kaiyodo Dinoland Chasmosaurus, X plus Styracosaurus, and CollectA mercuriceratop all get my vote.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin: As you noticed, this isn't a ceratopsian poll, it's for ceratopsoids (originally ceratopsids) so Protoceratops, Microceratus and Psittacosaurus won't be included in this poll.  There has been a poll for more basal ceratopsians already: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=3066.0

I had forgotten about the Tyco toys, I've added the ones you mentioned as well as the other ceratopsids in that line.  The Vitae Sinoceratops is made of resin, since it's not a toy it won't be included in the poll.

I've added the Beasts of the Mesozoic figures, but these polls don't include unreleased figures, so this poll won't open until the BotM figures are released.  I changed the subject of the poll to ceratopsoids so Zuniceratops can be included.

avatar_Loon @Loon: Thanks for reminding me of the PNSO mini Spinops.  I did mean the larger figure.

I've added all other suggestions.  I'm sensing a bit of fondness for Chasmosaurus in this thread.  It would be great if Safari made one!

SidB

Bravo, avatar_Sim @Sim , for including the old ROM Chasmosaurus. I'm not sure if it will attract a torrent of votes, but it's really cool that such an interesting and venerable figure should be allotted a place in this list.

Patrx

Good list, Sim! Didn't PNSO do at least one other mini ceratopsid? I'm sure they did a Xenoceratops, and it's quite good.

They have a mini Einiosaurus and Kosmoceratops.

Sim

In addition to a Chasmosaurus, PNSO has done mini figures of Spinops, Xenoceratops, Kosmoceratops, Einiosaurus and Pachyrhinosaurus.  I've added them all to the list.  (PNSO made so many mini ceratopsids and no dromaeosaurids...)

Sim

I've added PNSO's large Pachyrhinosaurus, Machairoceratops and adult Sinoceratops to the list of options, and the poll is now open!  Vote for your favourites! :)

ceratopsian

Well that was really tough.  I could probably have come up with closer to 20 choices than 10!
