Incidentally the Playskool version can also be gotten in a light reddish tone, which I am led to understand came from Wendy/s as a food premium

Edit- The Dinosaur collectors site seems to confirm my suspicion the Leptoceratops was only released as a Wendy's premium. Note here...http://www.dinosaurcollectorsitea.com/playskool.htm

Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

Neato! Have any of the weird little non-psittacosaurid early ceratopsians been made into figures?

I actually started a 1:40 Leptoceratops a few months back, I just need to finish the legs. He's really small, so I might make a mold for him while I'm doing one of the bigger guys.
Only need to finish the legs, or the arms? If its the arms, please remember these fellows likely could not pronate but did seem capable of walking on all fours .

Interesting, here is how he looks in his current state. Any suggestions on the best position for the legs and arms anyone?  I was going to use the tail to support him, but That might not be the best pose.

EDIT: I forgot to attach the pic  :P ^-^

If you are going to mount him reared on his legs, the main thing is avoid having the hands facing down, and rather be opposed or slightly tilted upwards...as Himaapan used to tell us..semi-supinated. It is assumed this guy could go back and forth from two to four, so either pose is within the understanding we have for it.
Edit-If you went to the trouble to create a second figure, and made one down on all four and the other rearing with its arms leaned against the first one.......

Are you saying if I make two, a third might be created?  ;)

I wasnt really headed that way with it, but sure, that could also be a possibility as well !! ;)

Incidentally it might serve as incentive to move along with the project, but provided the final project turns out as nicely as your recent offering, I can promise you an order for a few of these models .

I definitely remember these being carded in stores. The site says the Tyrannosaurus was "only" at Wendy's, implying the others were also released separately.

Have to say the way the site is showing it isnt that clear cut and makes it confusing, but I would still bet that the reddish variant Lepto was Wendy's only . I see lots of the blue ones, but seldom the other one

That makes sense. I have the blue one and I'm pretty sure I got it at the store rather than Wendy's.

Theres already a thread on this XD
I don't see it anywhere

Here it is, it's in the Dinosaurs and palaeontology section: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=4141.0

There's been a lot of duplicate threads lately (not just over the last two days).  If unsure about whether there's already a thread about a topic, the forum's search function can be used to help check.
