From the latest issue of Rotunda, the magazine published by the American Museum of Natural History:

"Dinosaurs Among Us will examine how one group of dinosaurs evolved into the fascinating living creatures we call birds...This exhibition will will feature ancient, rarely seen fossils, and lifelike models, including a 23-foot-long feathered tyrannosaur (Yutyrannus huali), a small four-winged dromeosaur (Anchironis huxleyi), and an extinct dinosaur nest containing remains of the adult that guarded the hatchlings."

Ooo! this sounds pretty neat! I have never seen a Yutyrannus skeleton in person!

Sounds interesting.

But I don't think its a Yutyrannus skeleton that will be display but some full cast sculpt?  Did I read that correctly?

Halichoeres

I was just at AMNH five days ago, looks like I'll have to go back! Of all the rotten luck, having another reason to go back to one of my favorite towns :)
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Lots of exciting stuff happening at AMNH this year. Too bad I have to go away for school before the titanosaur is unveiled. It'll make spring break all the more something to look forward to though!

Which will be a unique display in itself.  Especially since its head will be in a different room from the rest of its body due to its size!
