We are accustomed to look upon the shackled form of a conquered monster, but there - there you could look at a thing monstrous and free." - King Kong, 2005

That would be adorable and terrifying, like the Amazonian giant otter.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

I was about to say, there are still giant otters around, and they're nothing to laugh at.

They aren't called "river wolves" for nothing! Now imagine that nickname being even more literal...
So your world's benign?
So you think justice has a voice
And we all have a choice?
Well now your world is mine...
And I am fine...

What an interesting discovery, especially for me as I was looking into prehistoric mustelids only a few weeks ago. Off topic, I know, but with all this talk of huge, scary otters, I can't help but think of the legendary dobhar chu ('water hound') or otter king of Ireland.
