The study shows that the eggs of Heyuannia huangi were blue, a trait shared with large ground birds like Ostriches and Emus to camouflage the eggs from predators.

Ostriches lay white eggs but the cassowary lays green eggs.

Wow another fascinating discovery, and yet again another one on oviraptorids. I feel like this year has had a lot of finds and such regarding them, which is pretty cool.

This had been hit on by at least one previous article or paper within the last year and is not a complete shock ....it was already out there for awhile
