Thalassodromeus gets weirder

The large crested tapejarid Thalassodromeus has usually been interpreted as having a round crest, but this new paper reexamines the holotype and concludes that the notch in the back of the crest was real, and not just a broken off piece. Of course, given how much proteinaceous tissue would have overlain it, it's hard to be sure what that means for the life appearance.
