Brindabellaspis stensioi has been known for a while and is way down the gnathostome stem, in some respects more similar to jawless fishes than to more advanced placoderms like arthrodires. This paper shows some new specimens that give great information on the anatomy of the anterior head and of the braincase. Look at this detail!
