Meet Shangyang graciles, a new bird from the Jehol Biota. Unusually for an enantiornithine, its premaxillae (the most anterior bones of the upper jaw) are fused along pretty much their entire length, which has previously only been observed in more crownward birds. It's a beautiful specimen:
