I ordered Flicker Alley's The Lost World 1925 deluxe edition Blu Ray, anybody else have it? I have never seen the movie before,  I can't wait to watch this!
Mosasurus on Jurassic Mainframe and JPToys
Angurius on TohoKingdom

I love all the Jurassic movies, plus Disney's Dinosaur

I found it on youtube (the full movie is availlable) and i'm not gonna lie, i found it kind of boring.

Silent movies relies a lot on acting ; and it wasn't that movie's strong point. However, almost every scenes featuring a Dinosaur is enjoyable to watch ; as Harryhausen's stop motion is just mind blowing !
. . . And it's also one of the only movie you can see Agathaumas in !

It was animated by Willis O'Brien, not Ray Harryhausen.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

I have it on DVD somewhere, saw it a few years ago. It's a great movie for sure but it pushes much of the plot aside in favor of showing off the special effects. If you haven't read the original book by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle I would highly recommend it.

Damned ! I was told it was Harryhausen. . .
Nonetheless, i remember the stop motion scene as pretty dynamic and well made (given how old the movie is...)

Not only your pseudonyme's the name of the best ceratopsidae (which means you've got pretty good taste) ; but i second your recommendation : The Lost World's one of my favorite novel ; it's a great adventure story, with a naturalistic approach from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Willis O'Brien was Harryhausen''s mentor though, so perhaps that was the root of the confusion?

Harryhausen later assisted him on Mighty Joe Young and acknowledged this as a key learning experience. O'Brien was his hero for also animating King Kong, his favourite film.

Conan Doyle wrote a sequel, "The Poison Belt" with some of the same characters, which is very good too. It's an early examples of apocalyptic science-fiction. No dinosaurs unfortunately, but still worth reading. He wrote some crypto-fiction short stories too.

The lost world bbc 2001 is a better version and also the lost world tv series from 1990s is worth watching as well even if it goes of course....There is other versions but they just arent as interesting as the ones i mentioned above...

I'd love to watch Bob Keen's adaptation (1998). It was bad. But also somehow very entertaining (for the 7yo me when i first saw it). And unlike the series, it was quite generous on dinosaur models (God they were awful tho).

The BBC version should've been definitive, but it's very lacking, and miscast.  I'll take the silent version over that any day.

In my opinion the best cast, by far was 1992's Professor Challenger John Rhys-Davies, with David Warner as Summerlee.  Unfortunately they messed up so many other aspects of that production that I couldn't possibly recommend it.  Most fatally of all, the near total lack of dinosaurs.  I recall an insert dino foot, dino tail, and later on they show a dino head that was a rather basic hand puppet.  That's it, no full body shots of dinosaurs.  I know they didn't have Jurassic Park technology or budget, but even some limited stop-motion would've gone a long way, I also would've settled for Land that Time Forgot level puppetry.

One of my favorite actors, John Rhys-Davies. I think I first saw him in that version of TLW or in Sliders, both had dinosaurs. He did play an excellent Prof Challenger.
