Does anyone know the exact release date for the Mattel Legacy Collection Tyrannosaurs Escape Pack? I want to buy one before the scalpers get them all but I can't find it on the Target or Mattel website. I'd appreciate if anyone could tell me a more precise release date. Thanks!!!

You mean the Stomp 'n Escape T-Rex with the capture gear? My local store has a street date for June 1st, but that's in the Netherlands. Makes sense though, considering the release date of Camp Cretaceous season 3.

They already have it in stock though, but refuse to put it on the shelves. Such a shame.

avatar_Roselaar @Roselaar No they are asking about this set:

avatar_Tecovas @Tecovas I would expect it to be Target's next Beyond the Gates reveal here in the US, which is this Wednesday, the 19th, which is also supposed to be another Legacy Collection reveal, which will certainly be up for pre-order by then. In fact there was some discussion earlier in the Mattel 2021 thread about this being leaked by accident when the Raptor Squad set was revealed last month, regarding the video's title or something I believe. Considering also that there are only two more reveals left for the Legacy Collection in Target's Beyond the Gates thing (May 19, and August 18), and we know about both this Tyrannosaurus Escape Set, and the Apatosaurus (which is already available in the UK + elsewhere!), it's also another safe bet that this set will be this month's reveal, and the Apatosaurus will be the fall release, like how the Brachiosaurus was handled back in 2019 here.

We will also likely be experiencing another toy reset come June, particularly for the Jurassic stuff as a good bulk of the new Dino Escape stuff is expected to release by then, so all the more reason to think it will be released by June here (but up for pre-order this week).

Plus, in the UK (and possibly other regions with access to Smyths stores), it is already up for pre-order with an expected arrival in early June:

That's it! Thank you so much, your response was very helpful.

Duna

Any one knows where I can buy it in Spain? It will be my first and only Mattel JP figure and I'm so excited. I can't miss this incredible set.

avatar_Duna @Duna I know there's Smyths in the UK and Germany, which will have it. I don't know if Spain has that as well. If it does not become available in Spain perhaps a German member could try to get it for you from there when it is released? If not I would be glad to oblige assuming it is on store shelves when it is due to release in August (online pre-orders at Target here already is sold out), but I image shipping such a large set won't be cheap so hopefully someone in Germany or elsewhere in Europe can help you get it.

Yes, you are right ... and such a big box would be difficult not to be damaged. In Spain there is no Smyths, but there has to be somewhere I could buy it?
