Hey there, lately I've been having issues with my Mattel figures, particularly the large ones joints coming loose very quickly. Is there any fix to this? Also happens a lot with figures legs. I don't want to have to replace any of them either.

I've heard of people painting the joints of action figures with clear nail polish to give them a bit more friction. I haven't done this with action figures, but I have wrapped moving parts in other contexts with a thin non-adhesive tape like plumber's tape. That could work with some kinds of joints, although probably not knees or ankles.

Were they played with much? I think that is generally what causes joints to become loose after a while. That and being heavy.

So sorry for a late response, and no, legs were only moved around a bit to fit on the display shelves.
