It looks... I dunno, almost fake? But it did say an international team is working on it. Certainly perplexing.

The specimen HLD 6 is recovered by Ni et al. (2021) as closely related to the holotype skulls of Homo daliensis and Homo longi as well as the specimen from Xiahe that has been recognized as being a Denisovan. Since DNA analyses show that the Denisovan race of prehistoric humanity is closely related to Neanderthals, comparisons between the Huanlongdong skull and the holotype of Homo daliensis as well as additional material are crucial to determining whether or not a single species of extinct Homo more closely related to Homo sapiens and the Neanderthals than to Homo erectus existed in East Asia because no Neanderthal specimens have been found in China and the sparse hominid material found at Denisova is not enough to determine if the hominid material from Denisova and the Xiahe specimen are truly conspecific with Homo longi, Homo daliensis, or HLD 6.
