A new theropod-related paper is available online:

Słowiak, J., Brusatte, S. L., and Szczygielski, T., 2024. Reassessment of the enigmatic Late Cretaceous theropod dinosaur, Bagaraatan ostromi. Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society doi:10.1093/zoolinnean/zlad169.

This paper re-assesses the Late Cretaceous coelurosaurian Bagaraatan ostromi and demonstrates that the material of holotype comprises more than one taxon, with the femur, tibiotarsus, and a few other bones belonging to a caenagnathid and the rest of the material being a tyrannosaurid. The authors of this paper emend the B. ostromi holotype to include the tyrannosaurid material only, and they also find ZPAL MgD-I/108 to represent a juvenile.

Since this paper is unfortunately inaccessible and Słowiak et al. find the hindlimb remains catalogued under ZPAL MgD-I/108 to represent a caenagnathid, I wanted to ask whether the authors of this paper have found evidence from quarry maps that the hindlimb material was spatially found in a different location than the rest of the Bagaraatan ostromi holotype.

If anyone can send me a PDF of this paper, I'd appreciate it.
