I'm rebuilding an HLBS liopleurodon that has metal and resin parts. I was never happy with super glue holding resin to metal; it came apart too many times. It's stripped and pins are added, so I wondered if anybody had any recommendations?

An epoxy glue would probably be the best bet. Make sure the metal surface isn't smooth, so the glue has something to grip. Scratching some grooves should suffice.

I do a lot of small-scale modelling and I'm not a fan of super glue. I use epoxy glue that comes in two separate tubes, rather than the double syringe, so it is easier to just mix the small amount I need. One that sets in 5 to 10 minutes is best as you can just hold the parts in place with your fingers.

Thank you.

I used a two part epoxy and it worked well.
