It seems like you were indeed hacked then?

If so, how can I be sure I'm not talking to the hacker now!? I don't think I am, but it did occur to me that it's possible, especially if the same password was used on both forums.

The earlier post history from that ATF account looks legit (such as from 2021) before it was hacked. Just thought I would point that out.

Duna here mentioned that it was not their account (assuming it really is them here, not the hacker), but that begs the question of whose account is it then?

And does that other account mentioned exist?

I saw that post here by Duna but I think they deleted/edited it when they realised they were mistaken.
