Hello to everyone new member Derek here I am 42 years old and have been a dinosaur fan as long as I can recall. I live in northern Ireland and have recently started collecting dinosaur and animal models with my 13 year old daughter and joining the forum seemed like a logical thing to do.

Welcome! Nice we have two generations of collectors there! How do you two want to start? Which models/lines/dinosaurs do you prefer?

Thank you all...at present we collect Papo and Schliech since they are readily available in our local shops, my daughter started with farm and zoo animals but got her first dinosaurs at Christmas she progressed from reptiles like crocodiles and a Komodo dragon and her first dinosaurs became inevitable.

I have collected dinosaurs since a child myself and had all the variants starting from the ugly rubber ones to the invicta plastics from the eighties though I am not sure where they all are...my daughters all used them as bath toys!

Hello! Isn't it great to see kids becoming interested in Dinosaurs?
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.
