Four new fossil snakes have been found, all from the Jurassic, pushing back the origins of snakes. The new named species are Eophis underwoodi, Portugalophis lignites, Diablophis gilmorei, and Parviraptor estesi.

Very interesting. It's always nice to see new insight concerning familiar fossil locales.

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen

'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
