For anybody in the Chicago area, the Field Museum is hosting a public lecture on Wednesday, 20th January, at 12 noon. The title is:

"Are Accurate Phylogenetic Trees Possible in Paleontology?"

The speaker is Dr. Robert Asher from the University of Cambridge

It's open to the public, but can be tricky to find; feel free to pm me if you want help finding it once you're at the museum.
