Some of you may remember the early 90's arcade game Rampage. where you played as one of three giant monsters.
Smashing buildings, the army, and eating people.

Well there's a movie based on that game coming this summer, and like the recent Kong of Skull Isle series.
Lanard toys is bringing the monsters to the toy shelf.

Well, I posted those before in the movie thread, but I guess a proper thread for them is better. The official website for them is up:

George comes in three sizes while the other two come in two sizes, and there are stretch figures of the classic game versions, too.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

I'm guessing the smaller versions of the creatures are intended to be before they get super sized/mutated? I think I'll try to get that larger figure of Ralph though, since it could probably pass off as a decent werewolf due to the articulation it has, for my non prehistoric collection.

Interesting that they will have figures of the classic game versions of the characters too, but I'm not too interested in stretchy toys enough to pick those up.

They all look pretty cool, the standard pre-mutation croc is very, very interesting. Personally I've never heard of Lanard before, but for what we can judge by the leaks we can already say that Mattel didn't reach that level of quality with their JW toys. Enough said.

I'm super interested in the larger crocodile mutant. Since these aren't coming to Canada, if anyone spots one in stores know you have a potential buyer on here.

Lanard also made the Kong 2017 figures so i only expected high quality stuff from them. (they are based in Hong Kong)

Sadly neither these or the King Kong toys came to Canadian Walmart's, I'll keep my eyes open for the next couple of weeks but I will probably take you up on that gracious offer, thank you.

These toys aren't really what I'm into but they're hilarious and great.

So I got the Canister Contact Ralph set (at least for now). After watching reviews on the bigger figure (and smaller figure), I decided I preferred the more natural look of the smaller figure (the larger wolf had spikes, and scales apparently), plus it seemed to stand better then the large one. Unboxing this is a pain. I really just wanted it for the wolf, but I did realize the accessories and generic gun bearing person it comes with might not look too out of place alongside Jurassic Park/World toys. If I recall right Kenner had some stuff not too different for their JP lines. I'll get pics of everything tomorrow. Yes it seems this is a Walmart exclusive (for now). I'll get pics of stuff tomorrow when there's daylight out.

Edit: Only bothering with Ralph tonight, but he's got articulated limbs and jaw. Seems pretty solid/weighty for how small it is. Design wise it has lanky limbs, and honestly the head/ears reminds me of the werewolf from the Howling movie. Paint apps look pretty decent too on this figure.
