CollectA 2015 Spinosaurus' models and WS Sauropelta are Awarded-Best of 2015

I finally got round to ordering Doug's Sauropelta and it arrived at the weekend (with a couple of mates). It had been on my "must order at some point" list for a good while but the award finally galvanised me to get it from the ever excellent Everything Dinosaur.  Despite all the good things I'd read about it, I was still surprised at just how superb it is when I held it in my hand.  It looks like a living breathing animal frozen in time.  It's just so detailed, even where you can't see it unless you tip it up - I'm thinking of the folds of skin on the inner thigh where it's moving its left hind leg forward.  Thank you Doug!  I have and like very much CollectA's swimming Spinosaurus and I applaud the firm's willingness to produce something based on very recent research.  But I must admit their model doesn't have quite the same visceral appeal for me.
